PUPPY HEALTH

check up

As a high-level breeder of designer puppies, we understand that the health of our puppies is the most important thing to our success. That is why we have our veterinarian come to examine all of our puppies thoroughly often. They are sure to look at every 6-week-old puppy and any puppies that need re-checked for any concerns over time.

Here are some of the reasons why this is so important:

early detection &

TREATMENT OF DISEASES

Puppies are more susceptible to diseases than adult dogs, and many diseases can be difficult to detect in the early stages. By having a veterinarian examine our younger puppies, we can identify any potential health problems early on, so that we can treat them promptly and effectively.

prevention of

INFECTIOUS DISEASES

Vaccination is one of the best ways to protect puppies from infectious diseases. During a health check, the veterinarian makes sure that all of our puppies are up-to-date. We then follow the vet's recommended protocol for vaccines as follows:

  • 4 weeks Neopar

  • 5 weeks Bordetella/kennel cough

  • 6 weeks Neopar

  • 7 weeks 5-way

  • If we still have them at 11 and 15 weeks they get 7-ways

prevention of

PARASITE INFESTATIONS

Parasites can cause a variety of health problems in puppies, including diarrhea, vomiting, weight loss, and anemia. We deworm every puppy every 2 weeks until they're 3 months old - per the veterinarian's recommended protocol for parasite prevention for each of our puppies.

peace of mind

FOR US & OUR CUSTOMERS

Knowing that our puppies have been given a clean bill of health gives us peace of mind and allows us to focus on providing our customers with the best possible puppies. It also gives our customers peace of mind knowing that they are purchasing a healthy puppy from a reputable breeder.
